Rocket League mod works when running Heroic with Crossover 24, but only when D3DM is disabled

Hey everyone. I'm facing the strangest issue. After a few hours of trying to get BakkesMod to work, I discovered that in Heroic:
- When I run Rocket League with GamePortingToolkit-latest, BakkesMod will try to inject into the game, but fails, giving me an error saying I'm missing dependencies.
- When I run Rocket League with Crossover 24 with D3DM disabled on the bottle, BakkesMod successfully injects itself into the game and works in-game.
- When I run Rocket League with Crossover 24 with D3DM enabled, BakkesMod successfully injects but does not work in-game. The keybindings don't work and the changes I made in the non-D3DM version don't apply.
This is very frustrating, because D3DM gives me much smoother performance in Rocket League, and for the life of me I can't figure out what the difference is in Wine between having D3DM enabled and disabled. I don't have nearly enough knowledge of how all of this works to even make an educated guess.
I'm attaching two log files. First is Crossover without D3DM (aka BakkesMood ✅ ), and the second is Crossover with D3DM (BakkesMod ❌ ).

Can someone help me understand what I might be doing wrong, or how I can get the D3DM version to play nice with BakkesMod? I can also elaborate more on my non-Crossover experience and once I get this to work, I will write a proper guide on how to use BakkesMod for Mac users.

Update: after switching D3DM back on, the mod has taken effect, but I still can't interact with it. Maybe there's something stopping my input from actually triggering something in-game? Maybe something regarding D3DM is interfering with the connection between Rocket League and BakkesMod? Otherwise it might just mean that the settings I changed previously (when the mod worked) have just persisted between different launches.
