can nvidia app run through wine/proton?
so for the heck of it i wanted to install the nvidia app to participate in the online "lan" party that they are having for ces( and was wondering if the software can run through wine/proton or if i'm gonna have to set up a vm(through looking glass, of course) to run it.
I've already tried to run the installer through wine, it gave me error code: 0x000040 "windows task scheduler service should be running to continue. please start the service and try again." its probably a long shot(because nvidia) but i figure i better ask before going through the process of setting up a vm or even just participating on my old windows machine. so i can get whatever rewards for playing the game(s).
i don't mind doing either of those options, i was just curious if someone was able to get it working
