Ghostrunner 2 C++ error
Trying to launch Ghostrunner 2 but I keep getting a Microsoft C++ error. Anyone got a fix? Tried installing the redistributable but I keep getting the same error :/
Ainstall vcrun2022 using winetricks (settings > wine tab > winetricks > search for vcrun2022 > install)
BOof I’m in a bit over my head. What’s winetricks? Where do I find those settings? In heroic or is wonetricks its own exe? Is it the same as protontricks?
Ain heroic, right click the game in the library > settings > wine tab > scroll down > click the winetricks button > it opens a new dialog, search for
vcrun2022Install button > click itBHmmm nothing showing when I input vcrun2022

BOk I’m getting a white screen for half of the menu and totally white when I launch into the game. Any ideas?
BTried proton experimental, hot fix, and 9.0. Same issue :/

NThis can happen when you type in too fast before winetricks is fully loaded. Backspacing can kickstart it
PDamn so no need to install winetricks from the repos? Just use that instead

BPretty sure it was the proton they advised using that did the trick. Running great 
DI just tested this using UMU + latest Proton-GE, seems to work fine after installing vcrun2022

DI'm still murky on when these fixes get applied though, is proton-GE always pulling from this database? So once it's merged, this fix will automatically be live?
Diirc umu will see it once its in the database
DAh okay, would deleting the prefix be enough to test that?
Akeep in mind that heroic can also be installing vcrun2022, I added it to heroic's known fixes here https://github.com/Heroic-Games-Launcher/known-fixes/commit/2aee0fc8b0556f3baaf67a1286c8b35e3f3b9e61, make sure you have the
known fixes experimental feature disabled in settings > advanced if you want to be sure it's UMU the one installing that
DOh I didn't realize heroic had its own database as well, I'll make sure to contribute here as well in the future.
Does enabling umu automatically disable grabbing fixes from this database? I have both "apply known fixes automatically" and "use umu as proton runtime" enabled but still had to grab vcrun2022.

AI don't think enabling umu disables the known fixes, might be something to improve there
DBoth database and fix PR were merged, doesn't seem to detect the game hm
DOh the CSV is spitting back some errors on the github
DAlright looks like it is instant, once the game and its fix are in the database, heroic installs the required dependency:)
