Does Cloud Save Sync for GOG and Epic work when Heroic isn't open?
Thought before I test this and install games on multiple devices just to answer myself a yes/no question I'll ask here. If I don't have Heroic open and open/close Dishonored, will my save data sync to the GOG servers?

no, but if you add the game to steam using the
Add to Steam feature, Heroic runs in the background when you launch its games
so, if you add a GOG game to steam directly picking its EXE manually, Heroic won't run and the cloud saves won't work, but if you use the option from Heroic the cloud saves will workconscious-sapphireOP•6mo ago

yes, also most Epic games won't even work added manually to steam cause they have DRM from Epic, so you have to use the
Add to Steam option always for those
