Root Domain is working, subdomain isnt.
This is literally the first time this has happened to me, why could this be?

it should be working. I've noticed sometimes A records with the same domain as the SRV record can sometimes be resolved instead of the SRV record being resolved. Normally I make my SRV records point to a completely differen't subdomain (ie: point to server-01.example.com:345523), so it can't try to resolve an A/CNAME record with the same name
the issue isnt scaliwag.xyz not working, but the subdomain one
the server is online and regular connecting works
it works now
yea something was weird on hosts side
