Trying to run Control
Am trying to run Control via Heroic on M1 Pro, and the game shows it's launching but doesn't launch. The log file is attached

maybe try with whisky instead of gptk (behind the scenes it's gptk, but it creates a bottle for you and it shows platinum status for control https://docs.getwhisky.app/game-support/control-ultimate-edition.html)

I tried, and the game launches but it doesn't render properly. Like when inside the game and after the mono logue the shaders just go bonkers lol
And when I tried it with heroic's whisky 2.3.4, it didn't launch the first time, but on the 2nd try it launched
And after picking up an item it crashed

Have you tried to launch it with DXVK enabled?

Yes
Did both
Tried it with dxvk and without dxvk
Same output for both
Game launches but after the monologue the shaders just goes bad
Tried lowering the settings
But the same

If you mean switcher on Whisky UI it will have no effect when launch game with Heroic. Try to add library overrides for d3d10core, d3d11, dxgi in wine config to enable DXVK
Also some times using Crossover wine with installed DXVK on prefix may help

open winecfg in the game settings and go to libraries menu in the new library to override type in what the previous message said (eg. d3d10core) click add you could edit the override by clicking edit and then choose the order
you could choose built in then native first if its for dxvk

from your logs it appears moltenvk already installed tho

Use whisky wine in heroic and turn off metal hud, both from heroic and if enabled in Mac itself
That seems to solve the render issues
I played for 2 hours without any problems
It just doesn't seem to work when the show stats option is enabled
