Trying to run Genshin

I managed to get it working on there earlier, genshin was on my sd card, but I deleted it so that I could install it on a new sd card and now it isn't working

Yes you are. Downloading Genshin from EGS does install HoyoPlay to manage the game itself

Weirdly changing back to my old sd card worked

When HoyoPlay updates, it will break
Unless you are using something based on Wine 10 such as wine-staging-tkg
This is all explained in the other thread
You get one run of the launcher before it updates itself and breaks. You cannot keep the old version. It will update itself automatically
