Android videos not syncing

Hello, apologies if this has been asked but I couldn't find any existing topics. I am having trouble syncing videos taken with my camera on the Android app. Looking at the albums that Immich can see on my phone, I can only select picture albums. It seems that videos are saved in a separate folder location that I cannot see or select in Immich. What can I do to expose the video folder in the Immich app? Is that possible?

What kind of Android phone do you have? Usually there's a recents folder that will have everything. Do you know where the camera app saves the videos?

Sorry I haven't replied yet! I have a Pixel 6. The recents folder does have everything, but includes photos from apps that I don't want synced in Immich (eg Whatsapp images). The camera app saves videos to a separate "video" folder that Immich cannot see. I did figure out some of it: after clearing the Immich app's cache and data, and relogging in, Immich has been able to see (the camera folder has the correct number of items I.e. photos + videos) and sync everything. However some videos are still not syncing, while other's are. I suspect it's a size issue, which is probably a separate problem

Connect via local IP. You probably are using cloudflare or have a misconfigured proxy

I am indeed running through a custom reverse proxy with Cloudflare as my domain provider lol. Thanks for the advice! I'll try connecting on local

You can also setup automatic URL switching in the app now. Which would resolve your problems when home.

Ok awesome! I'll look into that! Thanks again!
