Slow android app - can't identify the cause

I'm hosting immich through Docker, on a 6th gen Celeron CPU (dualcore).
The phone I'm using is a Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus, with 100k media to back up on immich.

The Backup section takes 2 to 3 minutes to load the number of media (initially they're all 0).
I turned off video transcoding and set the image thumbnail as jpeg to avoid any WEBP conversion.

In 12 hours only 20k resources got uploaded to immich; where could be the bottleneck that slows down the backup?
