Can't install Android app?
Hey,
Getting this error when trying to install via Google Play on S24+, it seems to happen only to Immich. Tried clearing Google play cache, on the newest Android version available. Any ideas?

If this ticket can be closed you can use the /close command, and re-open it later if needed.Got space?
Yep, already checked that as well
And other apps work fine
Never seen this before so I'm not really sure 👀
There's no errors to work with either
Well yes thus the confusion 😄
Have you tried a simple reboot?
Hey, the issue is on my phone - cleared the cache on Google Play, I've got space, installed latest Android update. It's weird, I can install other apps.
Also tried rebooting yes
Did you install the apk from somewhere else at some point? Downloaded it directly from github?
never installed it before.. I also tried the support forum tip - turned off protection .. no luck as well.. I can try debugging later to see the system logs.. and I'll keep you updated
if you see closely.. it tries to download 19MB package.. then jumps to 65MB package and fails
it happens quickly
Can you try to restart the phone?
I did.. several times
interesting
Can you check if you already have Immich installed?
Sorry just read it above
weird
is GPhotos sabotaging us? 😛
stupid idea: try installing on 5G instead of wifi
tried that as well 😄
I have to check the system logs.. since this one isn't obvious
This is a log session I took while installing Immich. It seems it might be related to Google account. "W Finsky:background: IU: Account from AppState for update of app.alextran.immich no longer exists."
I do have Cisco Duo Mobile app that creates personal and work profile in my phone so even Play Store has its own separate copy - and I'm using a different Google account there. It's possible it's in conflict with Immich installation. But other apps are fine to install. So not really sure.
Maybe the best course of action is to use Obtainium app and grab the APK from the release note
Today it installed without issues. I haven't done anything not even restarted the phone since the last time. Not really sure what was the cause.
I have some ideas (all of them are Google)
But glad it works 😛
