Lots of corrupt images in library, how to delete and reupload?

Hi, I have been checking the Github discussions and issues for a few days but can't seem to find any posts about the exact same issue as me.

TLDR; I am backing up photos from multiple sources (An old IPhone, a new IPhone and Google photos takeout), somewhere along the line a large amount of photos have ended up corrupted in the library and this means whenever I try to generate the thumbnails I receive the following error:

[mov,mp4,m4a,3gp,3g2,mj2 @ 0x5c454050180] Format mov,mp4,m4a,3gp,3g2,mj2 detected only with low score of 1, misdetection possible!

If I take that asset id and find the file path from the web GUI, the image is in-fact corrupt (see image). All of the solutions I have found with existing issues say "oh just delete it from the GUI and it will re-upload", but there is no way I can do that with the sheer amount that have issues.

To add to the confusion for some of these corrupt images there are versions with a +1 on the end which work (see second image)

I am hoping someone has a script or something that can:
1) list all assets with corrupt files/no thumbnails (no thumbnails also means corrupt in my case)
2) Take that list and use the api to delete the assets
