Slow, and sometimes stopping update

I'm trying to update Fortnite, but the game isn't downloading, or downloading but very slowly

Also, the download percentage and size aren't right. This update is about 9GB

the download percentage is calculated based on the amount of files already there so it starts at 50%-90% and then goes to a 100 hopefully will be fixed for next release (it's pretty confusing)

What about the download speed I have decent internet connection, and my drive seems to work fine. I've downloaded games before and this didn't happen This exact problem I had with Epic Games Launcher, that's why I changed to heroic, but it's happening here too I install games from other launchers just fine

download speed is not just a matter of having a fast connection, which i don't know if you have it also depends on how the update is done, like if it's decompressing the files at the same time, after, or in between downloaded files. without knowing what your hardware is and what your connection is i can't possibly say what your issue is

Yeah, but what I find strange is how badly the downloads go through Epic or Heroic, meanwhile through other launchers or services, the downloads go normal.

Every game Thought it was just the launcher In fact, when I downloaded Fortnite on Heroic, it went smooth. It's happening again in the update tho
