Can't launch Death Stranding DC

I currently can't launch the game, but it was working earlier, already accepted EULA btw, and relogged in epic, both on web and heroic. Here are the logs.

Update: i clicked on library, then store and received a pop up saying that i wasnt logged in epic and to log in through this message's button, so i did. Game still didnt launch, then i changed wine version from proton-cachyos to wine staging 9, then it ran but loaded an old save, from 11 january, and now im stuck trying to download my recent save from cloud and it doesnt progress from that (screenshot attached)

the store button in heroic logs you into the website, it does not however, log you in to see your library in heroic

got it, i think thats solved now, do u have any suggestions about the save problem? i left that window open until now and its still at the same page and loading indefinitely should i close it and launch the game or is it supposed to close by itself when finished?

the save sync will say success when it is done as it says there..

didnt work, when i launched the game and selected "continue", even when sync said it was sucessful, game loaded and older save and overwrited my recent one when trying to recover it, i ended up losing the older as well, but anyway, my fault for relying only on cloud save ty for the help though 🙏

did you update the cloud save from the other device? the cloud save is really straight forward tbh, but its best to make backups before doing it just so you dont lose anything if you dont do it properly forexample forcing a download on the system that has the latest save, and overwriting your saves you want to keep what i do: - copy my save (the one i want on the cloud) somewhere safe - force the update on the cloud, to ensure the game on the cloud is the right one - then on another machine, force a download (if i've run the game before, otherwise regular download is fine) - play some on the other device, save - this time no forcing, upload to the cloud - on the original device, download (no force) - load save to see if its the same the only times this hasnt really worked for me is when heroic didnt guess the right save path, and fixing the path resolves the issue once that works, i just set auto sync and that makes it so saves are maintained

ill take note of that for the next time, ill just take a break from DS now, got 120h already and was on my way to 100% xD im pretty sure i might have messed up with the upload/download processes, im new to linux so all of this is new to me too, im learning as im using it

admittedly this is unrelated to linux, its exactly how it works in windows basically steam and gog and all the like look at the save, see if its newer than whats on the server, upload the more recent one.. same with downloading look to see if the server has a newer version, if so downloads it heroic just isnt set to automatic initially to ensure you dont clobber a cloud save you already have
