HW acceleration on Firefox in Distrobox

Is there a way to enable hardware acceleration in Firefox? Videos are extremely choppy without it.
It's in a fedora container and I have an Nvidia GPU.
I've enabled hardware acceleration in the Firefox config, as well as downloading the needed codecs from rpmfusion.
In about:support, it looks like hw acceleration is definitely not working.

did you run ujust configure-nvidiaujust configure-nvidia and select "Enable Nvidia VAAPI in Firefox Flatpak"?

Won't work when they are not using the flatpak, they have to retrofit it to work with the flatpak I think

I updated recently and also had to run ujust configure-nvidiaujust configure-nvidia and select "Enable Nvidia VAAPI in Firefox Flatpak" to get video acceleration back
