Preparing to reinstall, best way to keep files safe?

Hi all, quick question, going to be reinstalling since my unRAID setup is a little bit fuckered atm. Also going to take the time with Immich and reconfigure it from stock. I have a fairly large library of files already within Immich, in a rather large directory format: example: upload/<userid>/ab/cd/file.jpg Assuming my user id will be changing with the reinstall, what is the best way to "reload" these files in my library? Is it as simple as renaming the userid folder, or is there a more convenient way to get Immich to process them all into the new clean install. Thanks

You need to backup and restore the database. The paths will stay unchanged

Not sure I am able to backup my database. Is there a manner in which I can mass upload the photos or import them?

What do you mean not able to backup? Tbc, reinstalling aside, you should always have a backup As for mass upload:
