Photos disappeared
It took me around three months to backup my photo library from iphone to Immich which I installaed on Synology NAS... I have 114K photos and videos on the iphone and this number showed correctly on immich until yesterday, when the backup was about to finish. It now shows 108900 files backed up, 108400 in the device and these two figures are clearly wrong. First I don't understand why it detects around 6000 files less than actual and second I don't understand why it detects more file that had been backed up instead of showing the same number. I know the project is still under heavy development and bugs are to be expected but anyway, maybe someone has a workaround or a solution to fix this... another glitch I notice is that when I start immich on the iphone, it takes ages before it unfreezes, it takes ages before the backup page shows the numbers and then the cloud icon shows the turning circle even if, supposedly, the backup is completed... any idea or direction would be great and appreciated. As I already mentioned, I'm running latest immich server on a synology NAS via docker and the latest Iphone app.... about to forget, the webapp at least runs smooth even if it also show wrong files numbers ( backed up versus total )

You have an absolutely massive phone library, both of these are to be expected currently
We hope to improve it in the future but with such a big local library it’s hard to know what to expect
Yeah, I know it's massive... but it is what it is ;).... well, hopefully the issue will be addressed as libraries will only grow in size in the foreseable future
Anyway, thanks for your reply Zeus... from such an important God we expext some important solutions!!! 😄
If you go to App Settings > Advanced > how many assets ate in the count for duolicated?
It shows zero duplicates... I just stopped the server and restarted it whilst the app was open... as soon as the server was back online, the app started to backup photos again... the number of backed up files is now growing and just surpassed 110000 but the furst figure, the one of the total files remained at 108400 😏
