Email confirm mail is getting delayed and link showing unsafe

Hi guys,

I have configured supabase to use resend API for emails but I am currently facing 2 issues,

1) the email confirmation email is getting delayed
2) When I click the confirmation link the email is showing unsafe link window.

Any reasons on how this can be solved?

How long of a delay?

Are you experiencing the warning in a specific email client/host?

I use resend and don't have any issues, but other hosts might be stricter on security.

You need to make sure your custom SMTP is configured properly in the provider you are using. You have to set the DKIM, SPF and all that up properly. Also use a reputable email service too. I've heard folks say postmark has terrible bounce rates, so check around and see which service has good reputation with email services.

@Napolean_Solo I just tested a signup with a gmail.com email (again, using Resend), and the gmail web interface isn't showing a warning. What does your email template look like? I'm using the standard email template with the "auth confirm" stuff for the link. If you're not using
