The photos are gone
Immich version 1.125.7
I use an external hard drive through rclone. The rclone service went down and the remote was no longer accessible. I reactivated it, but the photos did not appear again, not even after running the job to update the library. I used --allow-other in the rclone command.
Many thanks!

I needed to delete the files, it had an API key and password
Check in trash
Your mount was probably unmounted so they are all moved to trash
You can rescan the external library to make them all appear again, after the mounts are correctly mounted
Hello! How can I rescan the library? I tried the analise, the update library job... The trash is empty, immich has been disabled for more than 30 days
It seems to be mounted correctly, is there any additional argument that is ideal to use? Besides
-allow-other
?

trash gets deleted after 30 days
If your mount disappears you'll need to restart the container before it will mount again
(this is a docker thing, not immich)
Hello! restart how? I already used docker stop, pull, compose up -d... I updated, remade the library and ran compose up again.
And
docker container restart

Hi @danielnach did you do these before the 30 day shutdown or now/
and I do mean indeed a simple docker container restart
But doesn't really matter since it's an external library 🤔 they should just pop up again
To check whether the folders are indeed mounted you can do
docker exec -it immich_server /bin/bash
and then ls -la /home/ubuntu/fotos
Now after 30 days. The
docker container restart immich-server
seems to have started to take effect. It took about 10 minutes. I may have to redo the albums but this is easy. I'm waiting for all the jobs to finish, but it seems to work. Thanks.Alright, so for future reference, if your mount disappears for any reason you'll need to restart the container after getting it back
It'll place your assets in the trash meanwhile, which empties after 30 days
Don't wait too long to reach out then 😛
they will get back automatically if the mount is fixed before the 30 days to be clear
lol yes! I ran out of time, I needed to fix rclone first. Before I thought that updating via compose would be enough as a restart, but I needed the restart command.
Many thanks and congrats
