Games not launching on oled deck

Installed heroic through the default App Store on steam deck desktop. When downloading and launching games a window appears and then immediately crashes.

Tried a few different proton/wine versions and also tried booting from big picture mode. All crash immediately.

Tried to upload the error log using heroic and it fails to upload.

Is there a way to see the crash log when the games fail?
