saves gone affter swapping proton version
basicaly i swaped yhr proton verion of the game froim proton expermental to protonge lastest and my saves didn't show up what folder would m y saves be under so i can copy them over.

Swapping wine versions rebuilds the prefix. You need to copy your saves from the old one to the new one.

Head into your prefix, drive_c/users/yourusername
Rest is where would that game create saves in
Find and copy them to : pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser

yeah no that didn't work
so what i did was launch the game make a new save save once exit the game that created a new dir under /user/steamthingy/appdata/factorygame/save/savegame that was a bunch of random numbers and letters i then copied my saves intot that dir and it work
