Onboard bluetooth has poor range on bazzite

My motherboard (UF GAMING X570-PLUS) has onboard bluetooth plus an antenna for extended range. I have the antenna connected and that has worked fine both on windows and on pop_os. Just testing things on bazzite now, if I'm right next to my PC, things are fine. If I sit away from my PC on my couch (about 3-4 meters), the connection gets really sketchy and unplayable. Trying to see what I can do to diagnose this

I tried seeing if the antenna is connected:

Besides that, not sure where else to go for troubleshooting

Decided to order a new antenna. I can't really think of a reason that bazzite specifically doesn't like the antenna and it must just be broken. I'll update this post if the new antenna works
