Game crashing at agent selection
I’m unsure why but for the last month or so my game keeps crashing at agent selection. As soon as I select the agent (sometimes before I get to lock in) it crashes. I keep getting penalties and it sucks. I’ve submitted multiple tickets with no resolution.
PC details:
-32gb RAM
-AMD Ryzen 7 5800x3D
-MSI RX 6950 XT
-GFX Drivers are up to date
-Win 11
General details:
-I’m mostly just playing swift play
-I play games that are much more intensive on my pc on max gfx with no crashes , it’s just Valorant
-not a temperature issue
Crash details:
-Happens mostly at agent selection
-It’s happened a few times as soon as I load into the map or get killed
-I don’t get an error code
-When it crashes I click the “update” and the button just flickers and doesn’t update. I constantly spam the update button until it suddenly just swaps to “play” and launches the game
Repair attempts:
-updating gfx drivers
-repair tool
-firewall exceptions
-reinstalling completely (twice)
-run as admin
-clean boot
-limit fps
-several gfx option setting configs such as anti-aliasing and vsync
