EU AI Liability Act Consultation (deadline March 17th)
The AI Liability Act could be a very important piece of legislation that holds AI makers liable for potential damages. If this goes through, AI labs will need to prove a level of safety before releasing. But there are some lobby forces trying to stop this piece of legislation. They argue that we already have the "Products liability act" and the "AI Act" itself, so we don't need this new AI Liability Act. **We need to convince the EU that AI presents unique legal challenges.
