Need help applying "Thief Gold" fix on Heroic launcher
I need help trying to adapt the fix listed on here for the heroic launcher gog version of the game https://www.protondb.com/app/211600

which fix in particular, that page mentions a lot of things
if you mean the first comment with the

The first post itself. I don't know how I would run those steam commands in the Heroic launcher.

you don't. the point is to run the .exe within the game's prefix, which you do with the instructions above

So I managed to solve this by switching to the regular "wine-ge" instead of proton. I also did what was suggested above.
