Reading the release notes v1.122.0 should have cleaned this up but it didn't

It fixed the bug that left files behind but didn't do any automatic cleanup

I was advised to run the storage template Job but that didn't reduce the file size. is it safe to just delete the contents of the folder?

You can also poke around the folder view to see if anything still registers as in upload/ https://my.immich.app/folders

Upload will always be the top level folder, underneath it will be another upload and the library folder. Once you run the storage template assets should be moved over to the library folder in the template you specified

Library is actually upload/library and upload is upload/upload (we know it's stupid and we will change it before stable... 😛 )

seeing as my current directory is upload/library and from looking at the application it looks like all the images I've uploaded are there I'll go ahead and delete the contents of the uploads folder after this there shoudn't be any worries of leftover files correct?
