I have saved twice yet don't know where my save files are

look under the Windows row because you're running the Windows build of the game

I already said the game folder has "saved games" but its empty
so it's saving somewhere else

there is a suggestion buried under note 1 on the save folder location that might apply here

what I would try is:
- open the game and save
- then search for files modified in the last 2 or 5 minutes inside the prefix folder
I imagine the save should show up there

AustraliaSaveLocation is the savename
