Extrusion/temp issues at higher layers
Running a Vcore 3.1 with a Rapido 2 uhf and an Orbiter V2. Bought the kit in december '23. Have noticed some small issues regarding extrusion when doing longer/higher prints, but this one has gone worse than the others.
Started out at 185C hotend 60C bed, ran for a day, started underextruding, upped temp to 195, lowered speed to 100 (started at 200, 170, 150, 120), went well for a bit, until this morning when it started underextruding again, upped the temps again but the extruder just ended up skipping. I was thinking about a partial clog, but looking back I suspect something else since I've had issues with high prints since the beginning
I had underextrusion issues on my last higher prints aswell, but never had any issues with temp towers and such. Could it be that the bed temperature helps the extruder for a bit which hides the issues at low heights?
I only yesterday read about the temp issues regarding the Phaetus Rapido with the PT1000, I hope someone can confirm that this would be the issue, because I'm at a loss at this point.
This one is printed in PLA, had issues with ASA aswell but not as bad as this.
