I/O Controller NCT6687D not detected

As far as I can tell the NCT6687D driver should be available via the extras stream of akmods (per https://github.com/ublue-os/akmods) but I don't know how to verify that it's included in my install of Bazzite (bazzite-nvidia-open:stable 41.20250227.1 (2025-02-27T21:07:50Z)).

Solution

unfortunately, bazzite dropped nct6687d akmod not long ago because it was causing crash in some hardware
