Mouse not working in GTA San Andreas
I am running it using heroic and Wine GE Latest. Its the basic GTA San Andreas

Wine-GE is rather old now (last release is almost a year ago) and thus might not work correctly. Please follow these instructions on using GE-Proton with umu instead:
1. Head to the Wine Manager in Heroic, click the "Proton-GE" tab, and install "Proton-GE-Latest"
2. Enable umu in "Settings" (Heroic sidebar) -> "Advanced" -> "Use UMU as Proton runtime"
Note: For a visual guide, see attached image
3. Head to the settings for your game(s) (icon on game card in library). In the "Wine Version" dropdown, select "Proton - Proton-GE-latest"
4. Rename your Wineprefix (path is shown in game settings), e.g. from
current-name to current-name_bak. To clarify: Rename the actual folder on your hard drive, do not change the option in the game settings.
Note: This will make game-specific configuration data (e.g. in-game settings or save files) unavailable. If this is an issue, let us know & we'll help you restore them.

Ok the issue is fixed but now. I've got infinitely spinning camera and I've lost my savefiles @termdisc

Made a backup of my wine prefix files and now the spining camera issue is gone but the mouse is still not working.. It works in the menu but not in the game

It just got rolled into the 2.16 update. The help bot wasn’t updated yet

Try running it through Steam. Add it from Heroic

I think this happened on windows as well. The way I used to fix this was use compatibiltiy mode for windows 98/me. I tried passing the arguments , but it still didn't work

Found the solution. Used a mouse mod I found on the internet

Fix, problem solver with a mouse in the game. Probably many have faced the fact that the game did not work the mouse. With this fiksom, this problem disappears. This mod requires asi loader
