Volume being reset to maximum when plugging and unplugging headphones on Steam Deck OLED

Whenever I connnect or disconnect headphones to my Steam Deck OLED running Bazzite-deck it sets the volume to 100%, this doesn't seem to happen if I use an external audio device, like USB headphones. This only happens in Game Mode, and it happens on the stable and testing branch. I've tried to search around and see if anyone else has been experiencing this, but I can't find anything. Any help is appreciated.

This is on the KDE version of bazzite if that makes a difference Looking in the journalctl log, this pops up whenever I plug something into the headphone socket or unplug it
