Chat overlay disappears after sometime on the stream...
Hello everyone, I haven't streamed in 2 months and when I streamed today I noticed the overlay is no longer staying on the live... It disappears after a few minutes. Can someone help me figure out why?
PS: Cant send the screen recording because of size...

yea the chat will fade after a certain amount of time

So it’s permanently visible?
I want it to stay the whole stream and not fade/disappear

Dang, I remember last time (2+ months ago) it just stayed on and didn’t fade

I don’t have anything set for this but i guess it’s somehow still active
it would be on the chat widget itself, you could try setting that hide after to a high number of milliseconds

there must not be anyway to disable it, i have never seen anyone wanting the chat to stay there at all times, most streamers i have seen have always wanted it to fade after alittle while so it doesnt clutter there stream
What is the mod delay exactly?
I was hoping it would stay like streamers like extesyy or faide
could be when a mod uses a command or when a mod does a moderation action like kicking or banning

@CDren is the layer disappearing or the individual chat messages disappearing?
So when someone would message I have my overlay expert setup to have chat on the live so if someone is watching in full screen they can still see chat. After a couple seconds or a couple minutes the chat (overlay) would disappear off the live. Meaning people watching in full screen can’t see the chat anymore. But I think I got it taken care of.

Maybe you had the layer set to alert or timed.
Didn’t think about that but that is a possibility. I’ll look into tonight/tomorrow as I have work
