How to pull Cloud save from EPIC desktop onto my newly installed Heroic on SteamDeck
I've been playing Kingdom Come Deliverance (the first one) on my PC via Epic Games. I'd like to pick up on my Steam Deck. I've installed the game and all its DLC via Heroic Launcher but when I open the game there are no save files. When I looked into the settings it seemed there was only the option to force Sync but I assume that will force the Steam Deck file to overwrite my ongoing save on the Epic Cloud servers? Sorry if a noob question - scared to lose my progress!

Thanks. Hows it then work in reverse? It says 'Save folder not found, please select it manually', once I've forced download will it fix that and start to upload my saves to the Epic games cloud when i close the game?
Oh.. just tried to Sync and it gives me the 'No Entry' sign... any tips on the 'Select the exact save games folder'? Can I just pick any?

you need to set the folder to be the folder from which the game pulls saves
you can't just pick any folder because the game looks in one place for save files
Heroic tries to find this folder for you, but you may need to verify this using PC Gaming Wiki

Okay so I found this on pc gaming wiki... Do I set it to the steam play one? I can't find that folder.. Sorry for being useless... I'm an older father of two so go easy on me 😂

it would be the
Windows save path, you have to look for that path inside the game's prefix folder (that looks like a windows C drive structure)
