(Solved) Urgent Ping Issue – Telekom (MTS) Provider
Hello Riot Support,
I’ve been experiencing a sudden and consistent increase in ping while playing. My usual ping is around 39ms, but it has now jumped to 60ms, making the game unplayable for me. I use Telekom (MTS) as my internet provider, and all of my friends in Serbia who use the same provider (and even some on other ISPs) are having the exact same issue.
This is not a problem on my end—it's clearly an issue with the routing to your servers, and it has happened before. Please investigate and resolve this as soon as possible, as the game is extremely difficult to play in its current state.

yeah from your computer, disconnect from any VPN you are using and do a traceroute towards those IPs

that is very dependand on where player is and where he plays at, eg. it should generally have lowest latency towards the VIP(Valorant anycast IP) as Valorant uses latency based matchmaking
I think MTS is now prefering to route via London, so the path goes from Serbia to London and then back to Frankfurt or whereever the player plays
which is shit obviously given where Serbia is geographically
we should see it on the OPs traceroute hopefully

they should not prefer this route, as rules of the routing should be to prefer originated routes, eg. Riot Games IP addresses
instead they are using some other provider to reach to us causing a long route and delays

yeahh i do, but only when a lot of people are home, evenings and weekend/holidays mostly :hehe: vodafone doesnt seem to care much about many new people coming here that need internet
