Rocket League
I downloaded and played Rocket League yesterday and it worked perfectly fine, No Issues loading or playing. I tried opening it when I woke up today but I only get a Black Screen with a Dashed Line (Its the only game that does this) And I have no Idea how to fix it. Please help

Cause All I did was make it to where RL was added to Steam as well as Heroic games launcher

No. You can put RL into Steam via Heroic. You tried to add Steam into RL
Or rather in place of RL
And you did so by telling Heroic that you want to run the Steam shortcut that’s on the desktop

it is for an alternative for which you have a specific reason
if you're blindly asking what is the alternative, then you have no reason to be diverting away from the original exe for the game

So Wine GE Latest is the one I want yea? @termdisc
Cause I have it set as GE Latest and it wont open at all
Wine-GE is rather old now (last release is almost a year ago) and thus might not work correctly. Please follow these instructions on using GE-Proton with umu instead:
1. Head to the Wine Manager in Heroic, click the "Proton-GE" tab, and install "Proton-GE-Latest"
2. Enable umu in "Settings" (Heroic sidebar) -> "Advanced" -> "Use UMU as Proton runtime"
Note: For a visual guide, see attached image
3. Head to the settings for your game(s) (icon on game card in library). In the "Wine Version" dropdown, select "Proton - Proton-GE-latest"
4. Rename your Wineprefix (path is shown in game settings), e.g. from
current-name to current-name_bak. To clarify: Rename the actual folder on your hard drive, do not change the option in the game settings.
Note: This will make game-specific configuration data (e.g. in-game settings or save files) unavailable. If this is an issue, let us know & we'll help you restore them.

Im re installing Heroic to Defaults to see if thatll help since it did work at first before I added RL to steam
Maybe with doing that, it may hopefully fix it
IMPORTANT: Logs are disabled. Enable verbose logs before reporting an issue.

Well before I did it, It would go to a black screen with a dashed line and do absolutely nothing
Now it just doesnt load a black screen and is infinitely loading

Well, you still have a few settings values (notably your Wineprefix) now set to values they really shouldn't be set to

Resetting Heroic resets the Wineprefix path of every game to
~/Games/Heroic/default. Sharing prefixes between games isn't a good idea (one game breaking the prefix in some way leads to all other games being broken as well)optimistic-goldOP•3mo ago

I dont plan on getting any other games atm but when I do, Ill keep that in mind
How would I swap the ones I plan to download to something other than Default?
