hello
i need some help
i have a macbook m2 pro i saw video of a guy playing rocket league on mac using heroic games launcher
so i downloaded the game
and i got the file
but how to run the game

i pressed install rocket league and after 2 hours it did
then i clicked on play
it just showed game was running but nothing opened
i checked finder and therw was a file
so how to actually open the game and play it like on a windows laptop
i downloaded the game from the heroic games launcher

got to the game's settings in heroic > wine tab > enable the checkbox that mentions the autoinstallation of DXVK
also in the
others or advanced (I don't remember which one), uncheck offline mode, you can't run RL offline

I see, I think you are changing the default settings in the general settings (heroic's sidebar), not the actual game's setting (click the icon next to the 3-dots menu at the top right corner of the screen for the GAME settings)

using finder (the file explorer on mac), delete this folder
/Users/ahmadyasir/Games/Heroic/Prefixes/default/Rocket League
then in the game's settings, go to advanced > toggle the Enable Verbose Logs check on
then run the game again
one thing to note is that a lot of issues seems to have started yesterday with an update of the game, I see many users saying the game stopped working, so maybe that's your case too (and in that case I don't know what the solution)passive-yellowOP•3mo ago
