Cities: Skylines problems
So the launcher and menu for this game work fine, but when I try to load into a game it not only crashes 50% in, but also closes the entire launcher with it, i have mo idea what could be causing this problem but i have seen some people say that it’s because of the game taking up too much RAM.

i don’t think my computer’s too slow for cities skylines btw
i have had this issue for other games not on heroic and i have no idea why it’s happening there either
driver issues maybe?
actually i dont see why drivers would make the game take up all my ram

have you tried reducing the game quality to the minimum so it uses less resources? that could help check if it's actually a memory problem
you could also run some system monitor tool while you run the game to see what's the memory usage
the fact that it crashes heroic matches with the system running out of memory (electron apps and anything that uses chrome in the background crashes when running out of memory)

good idea on paper but the game slows down so badly i can’t do anything but shut down my pc, so that means i can’t alt tab to a system monitor app
i’ll try lowering the settings tho

I think something like mangohud shows the RAM usage and it's displayed over the game so you wouldn't need to alt-tab
