Not Working In Multiplayer
Hi,
DH is not working for me in multiplayer.
I'm on my own server in which it worked before updating to the latest release. I transferred the server data. If I fly around and load chunks, anything out of render distance unloads.
All settings appear to be the same and have transferred properly from my previously installed version.
Thanks

Try moving the contents of the folder:
C:\Users\********\Documents\MultiMC\instances\1.21.4\.minecraft\Distant_Horizons_server_data\SPUNGHETTI\overworld
To the folder:
C:\Users\********\Documents\MultiMC\instances\1.21.4\.minecraft\Distant_Horizons_server_data\SPUNGHETTI\fm6fnj5d72igo@minecraft@@overworld

Is DH installed on the server?
Does F3 say
Server has full DH support
?
/logsYou should send your
latest.log
file to provide additional useful information.
Logs are usually located in the .minecraft/logs
directory.
On Windows: %appdata%\.minecraft\logs
On Linux: ~/.minecraft/logs
On Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/logs
Please upload the file to mclo.gs instead of sending the raw file. This makes reading the contents of the file a lot easier and improves the chances of you getting the help needed.
After uploading the file, click on Save
and send the link.@Miki_P98, I have not installed DH server side. Correct me if im wrong but I thought it would still work with locally stored chunk data in the "Distant_Horizons_server_data" folder.
Here is the log file link https://mclo.gs/VfISZsh
Clients still store the server data, that is correct

The first one has your old DH LODs, teh new fodler is the new correct location for them, DH failed to move them itself, so you have to do this manually
After that do something with the old fodler, remove it, delete it, rename it, backup it, just don't keep it there under the same old nameWorked!
I had already tried that, however I did not delete out the old folders. That seems to have done it.
Thanks!
