It'd be nice to not lose my KDE setup, but it's not a horrible thing if I have to recreate it from scratch. Perhaps someone knows a script that can archive/restore the current KDE settings? I'm not familiar enough to know where everything may be stashed, and I don't have the XP to have built up a dotfiles repository, though this may be the time to set one up.

just rebase to dx image and you good to go
don't forget to remove layered package and re add it again after rebasing
