cant find alternative exe
im trying to do this fix, https://github.com/Heroic-Games-Launcher/HeroicGamesLauncher/wiki/Rockstar-Games-from-Epic-Games, but dont know where the alternative exe is i just see advanced and this,

You can go ahead and remove all of those environment variables. Those look hodgepodged from random ProtonDB reports

I would install the Rockstar launcher instead and try to run it through that then
the instructions are more for GTAV on Epic Games Store

sideload Rockstar into Heroic

You aren't going to be able to run it without Rockstar anyway
yes, either install Steam from the .deb from Valve or use the flatpak

it says launcher exited unexpectedly after it said it was updating

the fix.bat thing from that guide is ONLY for when you own the game in Epic Games, you shouldn't use that
and the alternative exe option doesn't show up for games that you add with
Add Game
