reinstalling doesnt do anything.
just wastes bandwidth and disk io
the only case that helps is if you had some corrupt file, which the verify option is better suited to fixing.

yes but there's a bug where you may have to disable it and re-enable it for its setting to actually work

you changed wine
use proton-ge latest
delete your prefix as well
(since you changed to wine)
you may have to disable and enable umu again

?? when you delete the game's prefix, which is here:
/home/gamer/Games/Heroic/Prefixes/default/Moonlighter heroic will recreate it

make sure you've got all your vulkan stuff setup properly i guess?
i dont know chimeraos so you may have to look that up

shouldnt need any options like that.
your logs are complaining about mfc140, you could use winetricks to install it and see how that goes
i dont have mfc140 installed and dont have this error tho so haha
i mean you could try the option they gave but it basically disables dxvk and runs wine3d instead which isnt great but bypasses dxvk.. your gpu is new enough that this wouldnt be an issue for you normally since your gpu supports vulkan properly
you may want to first, verify the install
before trying all that
maybe something corrupted when redownloading it earlier

I know chimera can be wierd sometimes, ill try winetricks

There's some wierd audio glitching, but it works
So that negs the question, is it a GOG thing, or Chimera thing

yeah im not sure, i have the epic version
and builds are usually different between stores
even if they're all windows builds
might be a gog dependency

the stuttering is probably something some buffering settings can handle, but i usually play things muted so i dont have too much experience futzing with that haha
yeah what i would do for saves: back them up first .. the saves that you want to keep, put it on another folder or drive or something

then i would upload them to the cloud from the device that has them
then on heroic, go to the save sync tab and do a forced download

Gog galaxy makes it super easy, I just jave to make sure my pc save supercedes my hh saves.

(the game on heroic probaly has a newer save than on the server)
hence the force download, if tha tworks, then you can play a bit, save, and do the upload
if down and up seems to be working and the save is right, you can then probably turn on auto sync in heroic for the game
