Sun and Moon from custom sky resource packs render too close to the player

Here I'm using the in-dev version of the Nuit mod with my Hyper Realistic sky pack (also in-dev). As you can see, the the sun and moon cut through the terrain. This is with BSL shaders, but I tested many others and it happened with all of them. (bliss, complementary, dr destens, insanity, rethinking and seus) @FlashyReese FYI

I'd like to add another picture. Using complementary and no resourcepacks, it somehow glitched one of my redstone builds from afar into a stationary image that follows me. After relogging it went away.
