It's not that I'm in pressure but it's that the usage of it being niche pisses me off as I want a way to connect all of my stuff in a Hub

when you add a URL with the
Add Game feature, the URL is added inside heroic with the internal Chromium browser of the electron applications
when that URL is opened, in the request there's a User Agent header that is sent to the site like a normal browser would do
you can customize the user agent header of the requests
you only need to use that if you know you need it, it's really specific for sites that require a specific user agent (like if you want the site to think it's running with internet explorer or firefox for whatever reason instead of chrome)ratty-blushOP•8mo ago

heroic is not designed for either thing you're trying to do
the place for improvement suggestions would be #💡-suggestions
but these are probably way out of the scope of what heroic is meant to be

But that's a incredibly punishing state.
It means to have to deal with the bloat that the Roblox Launcher has and to give up the stuff you already have.

it is already incredibly versatile, its just not built for what you want out of it, nor is it magic

suggestions are not "ignored", but we all do this in our free time and decide to code the things we feel like doing, anybody can see a suggestion and try to implement something, su suggestions are not "ignored", it's just that not all suggestions are implemented because that would be impossible (this is all free open source with really limited time by everyeone and a really small core team)

it's important to note that almost everything that was done in heroic is because someone had a problem and wanted to get it fixed, we all read suggestions because they are source of ideas, but nobody is expected to implement a suggestions or even reply to them
they are suggestions and this is all free open source stuff, part of that is understanding that maybe a suggestion is never answered/addressed

again, I don't think it's lack of attention, I personally read all suggestions, and I think a lot of users do
it's just how suggestions work, some never get answers nor comments
and some suggestiongs do get comments and answers and thumbs ups and maybe they are never implemented anyway

i mean yeah but heroic does not support browser extensions at the moment and likely will not anytime in the near future because it'd be a pain to implement

They're just saying you're trying to get heroic to do something it currently isnt capable of, like browser extensions or modifying the roblox UI.

you have been told this many times already
the user agent string simply tells websites what kind of browser is looking at the webpage
its only useful in some very specific cases
it does not enable browser extensions.
