Warhammer Space Marines 2 Busted since 9070 updates started rolling out.

Just putting this out for visibility as I've been mostly playing MH-Wilds lately.

SM2 used to be a title that ran like a champ all Max settings on my build now 9800X3D +7900XTX+64GB ram

As off 2-3 weeks ago now the game just crashes no matter what proton version I try. Hard reboots system type crashes
Did not even need to specify a proton compat

this reddit post got it mentioned and the poster said rolling back fixes it

Space Marine 2 was also crashing for me about 3 weeks ago on my rig (5900X+7900XTX+32GB ram). For me, if the texture resolution was set higher than medium, then the game would crash. Every setting maxed out with the exception of texture resolution (set to medium), SM2 would run smoothly.

Yups have not touched my settings its been at 4k ultra. I'll give it a try and change my texture to medium and see what happens

So I just tested

Texture Resolution = Medium

works fine.

while toggling the Res setting selecting High Res pops an Out Of Memory error...

Had it on Ultra issue free
