Fortnite will not launch with Heroic OR EGS minimized; the window HAS to be open
On Epic's launcher I was given an error "application is not owned" and now when I use a desktop shortcut through Heroic, it is the same issue. Game will not start unless the launchers are fully opened now.

if the issue happens with the official epic games launcher I guess that's how the game works and there's nothing we can do about it
I'd be curious on what happens if you'd completely uninstall the EGL. Fortnite definitely won't be looking at what Heroic is doing

This used to not happen. I uninstalled EGL before trying this on Heroic. If neither application can no longer stay minimized to launch a game that's annoying
what's weird is that I can launch it from the tray icon without the window open
