How much does raw chambray shrink in the wash?
Got a replica navy shirt from At The Front and it's over 3 inches in the collar bigger than the size I ordered. Is it possible that it'll shrink that much at the collar?
I've never experienced cotton shrinking that much and I'd guess it's harder for collars to shrink? Not familiar with chambray though and seems this is unwashed.
I'm not sure the business knows what they're doing - they now say it'll shrink to my collar size in warm wash and point to a page on their website saying cotton shrinks 8% (seems high! and exactly 8% would still leave me with something kinda big), everything on the website and tag says wash only cold, and they're giving weird advice.
