No offline help
I was without internet for nearly a month and in that time I was unable to play any of my games on Heroic because it could not connect to the internet. The games in question are all GOG or EPIC games. Since I couldn't get the games to run, I figured I'd check the documentation to see if there was an offline mode. This failed as well because you don't have offline documentation. So, to recap, the time when the documentation would have been most helpful was the time it was unavailable.
As a solution, I was thinking that allowing the user to download the documentation in a PDF (for example) in the same manner as a game and having it update as the documentation updated, just like a game would be the best option since you can automate the whole thing.
Also, I still cant' find any information in running games offline

not all games can actually work in offline mode
and there's generally not much to document as heroic itself is pretty straight forward, and game fixes are usually handled automatically (or manually) by online utilities

The problem I have is that I don't play online games. Some of my games (Grim Dawn, No Man's Sky for example) can be played online, but it isn't mandatory. I couldn't even play Stardew Valley. the error I got was that Heroic could not connect to the GOG page and I couldn't figure out how to turn that off, or if it was even possible.

yes but lots of games require connections to validate and run
so despite being single player and not on line, they have to have an internet connection to run
so in turn lots of games wont run in offline mode in heroic
the games themselves have to actually support it and from what i have seen its very hit or miss if the game actually supports an offline mode or not as far as its validations go

not sure what "documentation" are you talking about
do you mean the wiki?
one feature that it's in progress is to have a
help
feature in heroic itself, that will work offline, but I don't know if it's the kind of documentation you are talking about
