Chino fit when bending and the like

How should your chino's fit at the back? Like for example when bending down how low should the back go? And for rise, what's the standard? Like I know people are different and a rise that works for someone looks weird on someone else, but what's the relative standard (like distance from belly button for example)?

The first question seems to be a factor of rise to me, and the question of rise is purely individual. Not even "what looks good on your body" but just what you like, what feels good to you. There's no correct rise for a given body.

It really comes down to preference At a bare minimum they shouldn’t hurt or be uncomfortable to wear, and not restrict your movement

maybe someone here could come up with a number that represents a relative average, or some kinda rule borrowed from suiting, but really if you're just wearing these casually then it'll be much better to just try some pairs on and see how you like the various rises (or post a fit check with them here for some opinions/encouragement)

When I try pants on in general I make sure to squat down to see if they get too tight Testing how they feel when you sit down is important too
