I’ve had these used micheals for a year now and they’re showing their age, especially the leather tearing around the heel.
What do?

I use bick4 on mine. The heel wear looks like you might be slipping them on/off. Might look at heel pads or something to reduce wear at the area?
Idt bick4 is good for suede tho

Slipping as in when I put them on/off?
Would using a shoe tree help?
Could help. I think general wisdom for putting on and taking off shoes is to untie/retie every time. I absolutely do not do this
Yeah these aren’t laced up super tightly anyway, and I appreciate the convenience of just slipping them on
a shoe horn will prevent a lot of the heel tearing
