GTAV authorization pending

I've tried using the fix.bat solution, that fixed the "buy now" problem in the rockstar launcher. But now it gets stuck on "Authorization Pending". If I wait or cancel it shows an error. Pressing retry prompts me to login and gives me a timeout error. Offline mode crashes it. https://0x0.st/8fsh.log

I'm not 100% sure if this is an epic issue since it uses a modified version. But running vanilla epic through lutris was broken until I followed this. I'm going to try an older version of the modified epic launcher incase it's a new issue https://forums.lutris.net/t/epic-game-store-update-failed/22551/18

I found the problem and I'm wondering if you'd have a solution. When it shows the authorisation window it is mean't to open a browser window to auth it. Through lutris it seems to open, but in heroic it doesn't.
