For Honor 😬
Disclaimer: I am a noob.
I'm trying to play For Honor, but when trying to launch from Ubisoft connect, which I downloaded through Lutris, the game does not start, and all I get - or see - is the splash screen.
Trying through Steam, I have a feeling it will work once I understand what to do about the error I get when trying to launch the Steam version: Uplay installation not detected.
I'm not sure what exactly that's supposed to mean, and looking up solutions to that only shows results that have to do with Windows.
Anyone have any experience with running this game? Would the solution lie in the proton prefix?

close out of lutris and run
lutris -d in a terminal, attempt to run your game and then post the full log output on pastebin.comOk, I'll try that when I have some time

to where did you install For Honor itself?
I used ubisoft connect (which i installed with lutris) to install it, so it's in that same directory home/games/ etc file system that mimics windows.
I also tried installing for honor itself through Lutris, but the results are the same
can you verify the actual folder path that the game is installed to?

the log above does not show any runtime information, and I'm trying to narrow down causes as to why it's not putting out that info
